  • Bitwise files 11 crypto strategy ETFs with direct and indirect exposure to altcoins like SUI, ZEC and others.
  • Strong inflows seen in spot XRP and SOL ETFs highlight rising altcoin demand, aligning with Bitwise’s new strategy ETF filings.
  • Bitwise remains bullish on the crypto market in 2026, expecting a strong Bitcoin performance.

As the crypto ETF landscape continues to evolve, on December 30, Bitwise Asset Management applied for N-1A form for 11 new crypto exchange-traded funds to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, seeking regulatory approval.

According to the filing submitted on Tuesday, Bitwise said it plans to introduce new multiple and individual 11 crypto strategy ETFs across major altcoins that offer exposure to those specific cryptos in more than one way.

Where each fund would invest up to 60% of its assets directly in a crypto token, while the rest would be invested in other exchange-traded products that track the same asset. The filing also explained that the funds may use tools like futures and swap contracts to manage exposure.

Bitwise had already succeeded in launching spot Bitcoin and spot Ethereum ETFs way before. Following this victory, it launched spot SOL ETFs in the month of October, then launched Spot XRP and DOGE ETFs in the following month.

With that, Bitwise’s current filing includes strategy ETFs that intend to track Aave, Canton (CC), Ethena (ENA), Hyperliquid (HYPE), Near Protocol (NEAR), Starknet (STRK), Sui, Bittensor (TAO), Tron (TRX), Uniswap (UNI), and Zcash (ZEC)

Strategy ETF Filings Align with Altcoin Spot ETF Inflows

When analysing the current strategy ETFs filing, which is connected with the past months trend in the crypto ETF market, it suggests a remarkable shift in investor interest toward altcoins.

While Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs are showcasing continuous outflows, whereas XRP ETF shows continuous inflows without any interruption since its debut, even the Solana ETFs are surging, as per SoSoValue data
