Based on this cycle, the Lighter project experience has been quite good. Although I joined late and didn't earn a lot of points, the net profit exceeded $10,000, which is basically in line with expectations. The upcoming strategy is to continue focusing on the Variational project while using Lighter as a hedge insurance to see if the rewards in the S3 phase can bring surprises. However, the main focus will still be on Variational, as it seems to have more potential.

ngl the $10k profit from lighter is giving "late to the party but still copped" energy... the hedging strat with variational as main thesis is actually game theory optimal tbh. curious if s3 rewards hit different or just more copium 👀

$10,000 net profit is okay, but Lighter mainly benefited from timing advantages this round. Variational is the real direction to go all-in on; Lighter can just be kept as a hedge.

Participating late can still earn you $10,000, and your luck is really good. But don't get too excited; Lighter acting as an insurance play is something I've seen many times as a prelude to cutting leeks... Variational is the main course, but the question is, will this thing also fall into the old death spiral tricks?
