I’ve just updated to Gate APP v8.0.5, and overall the refresh is noticeable.
What I like the most:
The UI feels smoother and better organized
Navigation between markets and trading sections feels more intuitive
Gate Square looks more polished and engaging than before
Performance & experience:
Most of the time, the app runs well and feels faster than previous versions. Market data and trading interfaces are clear and responsive.
Issues I encountered:
Sometimes the app closes suddenly with the message “Gate.io has stopped”
I also noticed a problem participating in the HODLer Airdrop, which didn’t work properly on my side
Overall rating:
80/100
My suggestion:
Fix the unexpected app crashes and improve stability, especially for features like HODLer Airdrops. Once these issues are resolved, the app experience will be excellent.
Overall, despite a few bugs, this update is a positive step forward
