On-chain data tracking shows that well-known trader Arthur Hayes has been very active in the DeFi market recently. Just today, he made a large purchase of approximately 1.855 million LDO tokens, spending $1.03 million. This is just the tip of the iceberg regarding his investment activities over the past seven days.
Looking at a broader time frame, this trader's strategy is quite interesting—they are reducing their holdings of Ethereum. Over the past week, they sold approximately 1,871 ETH, cashing out $5.53 million. Moving from one asset to another clearly indicates a rebalancing of their portfolio.
Most importantly, where are these funds being invested? Data shows that they have heavily invested in multiple DeFi ecosystem tokens. They bought 1.22 million ENA tokens, investing $257,500; 137,117 PENDLE tokens, costing $259,000; and also added ETHFI tokens to their cart, acquiring 132,730 tokens for $93,000.
This series of actions reflects a growing market interest in the DeFi sector, especially as protocol tokens related to liquidity mining and derivatives are being reevaluated by major players.

Hayes is causing trouble again. Is he really bullish on DeFi this time? I'm wondering if he sensed some trend when he sold ETH...

Bro is back to sweeping DeFi again, is he going all in on liquidity mining?
Arthur's move is ruthless, directly cutting ETH to swap for tokens, it seems he really believes in this DeFi wave.
But to be honest, is it really reliable to follow the trend and buy ENA and PENDLE... I think I'll stay on the sidelines for now.
When this guy makes a big move, a bunch of people follow suit; sometimes, the opposite approach is the way to make money.
DeFi is indeed heating up, but the risks are also high, be careful.
Hayes is probably testing the market sentiment, let's just watch and see.

Selling ETH to buy DeFi tokens? Is this guy betting on a DeFi rebound or seeing through something?

Hayes is once again buying new tokens, selling ETH for DeFi trash, a typical chasing the rally and selling at the dip mentality. Let's wait and see, this wave of LDO must drop another two zeros.
