Is it still possible to make money in the crypto world? The answer is yes, but the gameplay has changed.

The era of relying on luck and entering early for huge profits is over. The opportunities are now right in front of us, but the requirements for participants are rising—it's no longer about who has the biggest guts, but about who has the clearest understanding, the right strategies, and precise timing. Those still clinging to the "all in casually" mentality will eventually be re-educated by the market.

If you want to survive longer in this market, three things are most critical.

**Identify the right direction** is the prerequisite. Mainstream coins are stable but slow, while new tracks like AI, RWA, and Layer2 are highly volatile, but if you catch the right wave, it can lead to a full market rally. Many people go bankrupt not because they are lazy, but because they invest in coins without a story or cash flow, resulting in inevitable failure.

**Understand the cycle** is the watershed. In a bull market, dare to get in; in a bear market, know when to hold steady; and more importantly, when the trend shifts, dare to reduce positions proactively. Those who truly make money are not the most aggressive, but the fastest to run away.

**Strong execution** is the key to victory. Knowing what to do but not daring to act, or being unable to hold or withstand pressure, is all pointless. Short-term trading provides quick gratification, but long- and medium-term strategies yield results. Those who can hold their nerve often enjoy the biggest gains.

The methodology is actually simple: follow the capital flow, focus on the trend, use tools to increase win rate, and control risk with position sizing. Observe the movements of big players, use contracts to follow trends, participate early in quality projects, and let idle funds grow automatically through DeFi and staking—regardless of the method, the core is one thing: don’t let emotions replace rational decision-making.

It’s hard to go far alone in this market. To stay steady and survive long-term, you need a system, discipline, and defenses.

That's correct, but most people simply can't do it. Just understanding the "cycle" alone is a huge obstacle.

Hmm... That's not wrong, but I think there's a misconception here. Most people don't lack methodology; they lack self-control. How many can truly follow through and do what they say?

ngl, the "learned this the hard way" part hits different when you've already eaten three liquidations. timing sounds easy until market decides otherwise.

Relying on luck is already outdated. The current rules of the game have indeed changed. To be honest, many people lose because of their emotions. The moment they can't hold their positions, they've already lost. Execution really is the final filter. I've seen too many people who see the right market but lack the courage to act. However, AI and Layer2 are definitely worth watching this round. It all depends on who can hold on.

That's right, but most people finish reading and then just go back to the same old routine as yesterday.

Basically, you need to have some brains and not go all in blindly.
