A few notable updates from the Asian session on December 9:

Mining giant BITMINE has been very active, purchasing 138,400 ETH in one go last week. Their total holdings have now surpassed 3.86 million ETH, making them a heavyweight player in the entire market.

On the regulatory front, there’s new progress—TETHER’s USDT has obtained a key operational license in Abu Dhabi. The Middle Eastern market is becoming increasingly receptive to stablecoins, which is a positive signal for the entire crypto payment ecosystem.

The CEO of Strategy company recently went public with their Bitcoin strategy: they plan to hold BTC until 2065. True to their word, the company just spent $963 million to purchase 10,624 bitcoins. Such a forty-year long-term approach is rare even in traditional finance circles.

Robinhood also has some new moves, but the specific details are still being confirmed.
