Trump, who claimed he wanted to make the US a crypto hub, didn’t mention cryptocurrency or blockchain at all in his latest national security strategy.
This strategy document focuses entirely on artificial intelligence and quantum computing. It explicitly states that the US aims to seize the technological high ground and set global standards in fields like AI, biotechnology, and quantum computing.
Interestingly, Trump has publicly voiced his support for the crypto industry more than once, even calling for the US to become the global crypto center. But in this official national strategy document, cryptocurrency is completely absent. It seems there’s a big difference between what’s said publicly and what actually becomes a policy priority.
