I competed with my fren for a newly launched coin, and I was really thrown off by other public chains.

He shouted in the group: "This coin is about to take off, get on board if you can."
As soon as I saw the price just starting, I rushed to the on-chain DEX, placed an order, confirmed, and waited for the block...
The familiar plot has arrived:
The transaction is turning on the chain, the price is being pulled up by a big bullish candle, and my order is still "in queue."
When the deal finally closes, it has already become the baton of others dumping, turning a flight opportunity into a high-level guard.

After that day, I started to reflect:
Now everyone is talking about "on-chain real-time market" and "onchain order book", but the underlying speed can't keep up. Later, I tried out what @SeiNetwork has to offer, and it felt like a completely different experience.
The feeling of placing a limit order to buy coins is like this on @SeiNetwork:

I place an order, and almost in the blink of an eye, the transaction is completed, at about 400 milliseconds. It’s not the kind of "let's wait for N confirmation blocks first," but truly on-chain settlement at the second level.
Looking deeper, it's not "all cars queueing on a single road", but rather it breaks transactions down and processes them simultaneously. In simple terms, many transactions can run together without holding each other back. It's like having multiple express lanes; even with more cars, it won't get congested all at once.

As for their so-called "twin-turbo consensus", my own understanding is quite rudimentary:
It is to split the consensus "engine" into two sets running together, one responsible for quickly bringing in transactions, and the other responsible for quickly finalizing the results. This way, the chain can be both fast and stable. For users, it means less of that lagging feeling and more of the smoothness of "just click and it's done."

Slowly I realized a very realistic change:
In the past, I relied more on luck when doing short trades on other chains -
The chain is faster, and you'll get to the meat.
When the chain is congested, it directly turns into a bag holder.
Trading on $Sei now will make your mindset much more relaxed:
I am more daring to place orders, cancel orders, and adjust positions because I know that not every step has to "fight against the chain's delay";
Market making, wash trading, and arbitrage are speed-sensitive strategies that have more confidence in moving to the chain.

Why is the market running faster on Sei?
Because it was originally created for the "real-time digital asset market", many projects have been launched on sei! For example, @KAIO_xyz and @Kindred_AI. Looking forward to the new projects launching in December.
