Arthur Hayes vs HyperLiquid: when a top manager becomes a meme

An interesting conflict occurred in the HyperLiquid ecosystem. After Arthur Hayes sold HYPE near the maximum, the community is actively discussing his trading strategy.

The ecosystem application Mercury even put forward ( possibly in a joking manner ) the proposal to add Hayes' wallet to the blacklist. In the proposal, he is referred to as the “famous trend line destroyer” and the “living signal of the market peak.”

What's funny here:

  • Hayes is reportedly engaged in swing trading and is not leaving the ecosystem.
  • But the synchronization of its sale with the top caused outrage.
  • The community started joking that it should be stopped until the next HYPE purchase.

A typical crypto drama: when a big player trades against the community's sentiment, it immediately becomes a meme. I wonder if Hayes will return or will stay away from HYPE for a while.
