The world's largest cryptocurrency Bitcoin has once again experienced a sharp plummet today, testing below 100,000 Dollar.

BTC, which fell to as low as 99,840 Dollar, lost 1.63% in value in the last 24 hours. This plummet is associated with both the weakening of the US stock markets and the increasing liquidation pressure across the crypto space.
Bitcoin is currently trading about 21% below its all-time high of $126,198 seen on October 6, 2025. Its market capitalization has once again fallen below $2 trillion.
The leveraged position liquidations experienced throughout the market have also been one of the biggest reasons for the plummet. A total of 463.21 million dollars worth of crypto positions were liquidated in the last 24 hours:

The trading volume in the last 24 hours has risen to 82.28 billion Dollar, while the market capitalization is measured at 1.996 trillion Dollar. The performance of BTC over the last seven days has seen a plummet of 1.24 percent.

While the price of Ethereum has plummeted to the level of 3,282 Dollar, it has experienced a drop of approximately 4.29% in the last 24 hours.

Solana is trading at 148 Dollar, BNB at 936 Dollar, and XRP at 2.36 Dollar.
