In 2013, I entered the world of Crypto Assets. At first, I knew nothing about this field, relying solely on a principal of 100,000 yuan and the guidance of my mentor to start my investment journey. Under my mentor's leadership, my assets gradually rose to 600,000 yuan. However, whenever I tried to operate independently, I would always suffer losses, sometimes even causing my account to shrink by half.
In this process, I realized that I am not very familiar with the basic terms and trading rules of the Crypto Assets market. In order to become an independent investor, I asked my mentor how to improve my abilities. The mentor emphasized the importance of learning, and he compared it to: 'If you want to run, you must first learn to walk.'
The mentor shared several key investment concepts:
First of all, it is crucial to understand the factors that affect the price of Crypto Assets. This question can be extended to: who is influencing the market direction? What are their motivations?
Secondly, prices essentially fluctuate around value. In the long run, most Crypto Assets may not have substantial value, and therefore may eventually go to zero.
Ultimately, there is a distinction between true investors and speculators. Those who choose to dollar-cost average into Bitcoin or hold it for the long term typically do not consider themselves 'trading coins'.
As a beginner investor, it is important to clarify your investment goals and strategies. Is it for short-term profit or long-term value investment? Understanding the fundamentals and potential value of the Crypto Assets you are investing in is also crucial.
My experience shows that achieving success in the crypto assets market requires continuous learning and cautious operation. Although the market is full of opportunities, it also carries high risks. Therefore, establishing a solid knowledge base, formulating wise investment strategies, and remaining vigilant at all times are key to standing firm in this rapidly changing market.
