Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP) have garnered significant attention in the Web3 space and are regarded as a key technology. However, the real challenge lies not in the theory, but in practical applications. In recent years, both public chains and Rollup solutions have been attempting to build their own proof systems, resulting in issues of resource duplication, high costs, and low efficiency.

To address this dilemma, an innovative solution has emerged, aimed at upgrading zero-knowledge proofs from a single experiment to a shared infrastructure. This solution utilizes zkVM technology, transferring the complex proof generation process to off-chain nodes, leaving only lightweight verification on-chain. This design brings multiple advantages:

1. Significantly reduce on-chain resource consumption and greatly decrease Gas fees.
2. Enhance interoperability between different blockchains and Rollups, breaking the existing island state.
3. Simplify the developer access process and reduce system setup costs.

The impact of this model far exceeds the optimization of individual projects. As more networks and applications join this ecosystem, the network effects of proof nodes will gradually become apparent: the larger the scale of use, the lower the cost per transaction, the higher the validation efficiency, and the stronger the stickiness of the ecosystem. This effect is similar to the "liquidity network effect" in DeFi, but it operates at the fundamental layer of zero-knowledge proofs.

For ordinary users, the benefits brought by this transformation are very intuitive: faster transaction confirmation speeds, smoother cross-chain operations, and more economical fees. In the future, users may not even need to understand the underlying zero-knowledge proof technology to enjoy a blockchain experience that is as convenient and natural as traditional internet.

From the perspective of industry development, this new model of shared infrastructure is not just a new project, but represents a new narrative. It provides the possibility for the large-scale application of zero-knowledge proof technology, transforming it from decentralized independent experiments into a unified infrastructure. This not only enhances overall efficiency but also opens up new space for the next stage of Web3 development.

Essentially, this new model answers a key question: how to transform zero-knowledge proofs from an academic breakthrough into industry infrastructure? The answer clearly points to three directions: sharing, standardization, and network effects. In this way, zero-knowledge proof technology is expected to play a greater role in the Web3 ecosystem, driving the entire industry forward.

Is the gas going to drop? Tsk tsk, if I believe it, I'll just go eat.

Running a bit fast... I haven't figured out the principle yet.

This should have been done long ago, gas is instant.
