$15.2 Trillion USD Bitcoin Is Being Held By Individuals

According to recent research, although the Bitcoin market is becoming increasingly attractive to institutional investors, the majority of the supply remains in the hands of individual investors. Specifically, individuals hold 65.9% of the total Bitcoin supply, equivalent to approximately 13.83 million BTC.
This shows that Bitcoin is still the "people's asset", where ordinary users and retail investors still dominate in terms of the number of holdings. This is also evidence that the power and influence of the individual community on the Bitcoin market is still very significant.
However, the strong development of institutional investors cannot be overlooked. ETF funds, large companies incorporating Bitcoin into corporate treasury, and asset managers are gradually increasing their presence in the market. This can bring many positive impacts such as increasing liquidity, enhancing the reputation of Bitcoin, but at the same time also changing the structure of supply control and affecting prices.
In summary, Bitcoin is still primarily driven by individuals, but the entry of institutions is opening a new chapter for the market, where both individuals and "big players" participate and shape the future of this digital currency.
