I don't feel emotional while flipping a coin largely for the same reason I don't feel the emotions of angst, or fear, when flying in a plane...
I understand the mechanical expectancy of these systems. The coin will land on heads, over enough flips 50% of the time. The plane is >99.9% likely to deliver me from point A -> B safely.
It's not about "controlling your emotions". It's about developing a real edge.
