On August 14, Tether and the decentralized finance innovation company Lightspark announced the integration of Spark's cutting-edge Bitcoin Lighting Network infrastructure into its Open Source Wallet Development Kit (WDK). This integration marks a significant advancement in the development of programmable, self-hosted wallets, providing developers with a simpler way to integrate fast, low-cost Bitcoin payments with USD₮ functionality into wallet products through a single stateless API.
WDK is an Open Source, modular software development kit designed to help enterprises and developers seamlessly integrate the user experience of non-hosted wallets and USDT, XAUT, Bitcoin (and almost all other coins) into any application, website, and device, ensuring security, resilience, and flexibility.
