The Crypto Assets market is undergoing a critical turning point. The past bull run pattern shows that Bitcoin typically leads in the early stages, followed by altcoins experiencing explosive rises, even surpassing Bitcoin's performance.
Current market data reveals an interesting phenomenon: during this bull run, alts contributed only 35% to the overall market cap rise, significantly lower than the 55% and 66% contributions in the previous two bull runs. This data suggests that the large-scale rise of alts may have only just begun.
There are several key factors that may drive alts, particularly Ethereum, to perform stronger in the future:
First, the regulatory environment is improving. The recent legislation introduced by the U.S. government has created a clearer regulatory framework for stablecoins and other Crypto Assets, which could stimulate more investment.
Secondly, a large amount of funds is flowing into the Ethereum ecosystem. Currently, more than half of the stablecoin market capitalization and nearly three-quarters of on-chain government bonds are on the Ethereum network. Traditional financial institutions, real-world assets (RWA), and tokenized stocks are also increasingly entering the Ethereum ecosystem.
Finally, the market signals are also very clear. The price of Ethereum priced in Bitcoin has risen by 103% since the low point in April 2025, which is a strong rise trend indicator.
Although history may not repeat itself exactly, the market often exhibits similar patterns. As the first stage dominated by Bitcoin comes to a close, the next stage is likely to belong to alts, especially Ethereum.
For investors, this turning point offers new opportunities, but it also brings higher risks. In this rapidly changing market, staying vigilant and continuously learning is crucial.
