Whales Are Very Active: One Opened a Short Position in 6 Altcoins, While the Other Started Accumulating Heavily in a Single Altcoin!
As the Crypto currency market continues its rise trend, the high volume transactions executed by some whales have caught the attention of investors.
An unidentified whale created numerous new wallets by depositing 20.5 million USDC into the decentralized derivatives exchange Hyperliquid. Through these wallets, Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), Solana (SOL), HYPE, Dogecoin (DOGE), Fartcoin and some other tokens were shorted.
On the other hand, some whales have started to accumulate the Story (IP) token significantly. Within just a few minutes, the whale at address 0x385D purchased 857,192 IP for a value of 3.8 million dollars, while another whale at address 0xE0e6 spent 3.61 million dollars for 814,523 IP tokens.
Also, a whale with the address 0x8373 opened a short position of 2.13 million dollars on the PUMP token with 3x leverage. The liquidation price for this transaction was set at 0.00735 dollars.
Whale activity is not limited to short positions. A newly created wallet deposited 5.5 million USDC into Hyperliquid, purchasing 118,856 HYPE tokens at an average price of $46.27.
Large purchases are also attracting attention in the memecoin market. Yesterday, an investor spent 4.5 million USDT to purchase 349.02 billion PEPE tokens. Currently, this whale holds a total of 508.75 billion PEPE, with a current value of 6.23 million dollars.
