Analysts predict that the labor market will change chaotically and new professions related to AI will often be in demand.
AI is revolutionizing the labor market, but three professions will remain relatively protected from automation.
But there will be professions that AI will not be able to replace.
These professions will be associated with human skills such as creativity, scientific thinking, and critical problem-solving. AI is not yet able to handle this.
Three professions:
- Programmers (Software developers)*: programmers will continue to thrive in the AI era because they have skills that are difficult to automate, such as debugging, problem-solving, and innovation.
Although AI can write code, it lacks the creative thinking and control that human developers bring.
- Biologists will remain indispensable in addressing global health and environmental threats.
Biology is an intensely human-oriented science that requires critical thinking, creativity, and deep contextual understanding and skills that machines have not yet mastered.
- The energy sector is complex and requires human expertise that AI cannot fully replicate.
Energy experts will continue to play a key role in developing innovative solutions to meet the world's energy needs.
These three professions stand out because they require a combination of human skills, creativity, and complex problem-solving that AI systems currently cannot match.
Do you think AI will be able to displace all professions and eliminate human labor?
