Donald Trump's Cryptocurrency Project WLFI has given the long-awaited big announcement! They had signaled it a week ago!

Finally, the expected happened and the first step was taken to make ‘World Liberty Financial (WLFI) transferable and listable with the support of US President Donald Trump.

According to the official announcement, Trump and his family's cryptocurrency project ‘World Liberty Financial’ announced an official offer that allows the trading of WLFI tokens.

In a statement made by WLFI on X, the following expressions were included:

"By commemorating Independence Day, the WLFI ecosystem is reaching a historic milestone. The proposal to activate WLFI trading has been published on our management page.

This proposal has been submitted to request input from the community and to officially initiate the token's tradability. This will be an important milestone in the development of the World Liberty Financial ecosystem and will open the door for broader community engagement, access, and protocol development.

The objectives of the offered proposal are listed as follows:

"• Make WLFI transferable so that a wider community can participate in governance, whether through peer-to-peer transactions or access via secondary markets."

• Transition the WLFI ecosystem from closed participation to open participation.

• Enable greater access to token usage

• Start the next phase of community ownership and participation.

• Align long-term token incentives with protocol adoption and success.

The WLFI team added that in addition to the trading of WLFI tokens being opened if the current vote passes, the community rights regarding governance participation, incentive establishment, and treasury management will also be expanded.
