iExec is a decentralized platform for cloud computing on the Ethereum blockchain. Within iExec, a blockchain network is implemented that brings together various computing resources, ensuring the seamless operation of dApps through the distribution of computing processes.
iExec ensures the efficient operation of decentralized applications by offloading resource-intensive computations off-chain, allowing for seamless on-chain actions on the blockchain. At the core of this mechanism is the open-source software XtremWeb-HEP, designed for decentralizing and optimizing computing processes. It leverages unused computing power, enabling dApps to optimally allocate resources within the iExec infrastructure.
RLC is the native token of the iExec platform and plays a key role in the project's ecosystem. The RLC token is used as the primary means of payment for services and resources on the platform, including access to decentralized cloud resources and other services within the iExec infrastructure.
