By the close of that day, the price of light crude oil futures for June delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange fell by $1.63, closing at $60.42 per barrel, a decline of 2.63%; the price of Brent crude oil futures for June delivery fell by $1.61, closing at $64.25 per barrel, a decline of 2.44%.
