The Trump Meme Coin team denies the rumors circulating on social media that holders of Official Trump (TRUMP) need at least $300,000 to participate in the upcoming dinner with U.S. President Trump.

On April 25, the official X account of the Trump Meme Coin clarified that there is no $300,000 threshold requirement to attend the dinner event hosted by the meme coin project, which Trump will be attending.

This rumor originated from community members citing token contract address holder data displayed on the Solana block explorer. As of the time of publication, the block explorer shows that the 220th largest holder owns 33,114 TRUMP tokens, worth over $400,000. However, the meme coin team stated that the block explorer does not reflect their actual standards.

"People mistakenly regard the 220th position on the block explorer as the threshold standard. This is incorrect, as it includes locked tokens, exchanges, market makers, and holders not participating in activities. Instead, everyone should treat the leaderboard as a reference," they wrote.

On April 23, the Trump Coin team released the leaderboard, showing the leading wallet addresses eligible to participate in the dinner event.

The final guest list has not yet been confirmed, but the meme coin team stated that any token holders wishing to qualify must pass a background check. Additionally, their wallets must complete KYC (Know Your Customer) and compliance review.

According to the official website of the meme coin, the team will select winners based on time-weighted holdings. This metric calculates the amount held and the holding time of the tokens. "The longer the holding time, the higher the weighted score," the team wrote.

As of the time of writing, the largest holder on the leaderboard owns over 1.1 million tokens, worth 14.6 million USD, but the time-weighted score is only over 686,000 points. The 220th wallet holder has 1,125 TRUMP, worth nearly 15,000 USD, with a score of 136 points.

The leaderboard also shows that some addresses currently holding zero TRUMP still qualify to attend the dinner. This may be due to their previous longer holding period of the tokens.
