MetaEra News, on April 25th (UTC+8), Huang Haihua, spokesperson of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the National People’s Congress (NPC) and director of the research office, stated at a press conference that the 42nd chairman meeting of the 14th NPC Standing Committee has made amendments to the “Legislative Work Plan of the NPC Standing Committee for 2025,” which will be announced to the public soon in accordance with the provisions of the Legislative Law. Huang Haihua introduced that the 2025 legislative work plan includes 14 draft laws for continued review and 23 draft laws for initial review. Among these, in terms of improving the institutional mechanisms that promote high-quality development, laws will be formulated for the promotion of the private economy, national development planning, finance, financial stability, protection of arable land, and quality improvement, as well as amendments to the Anti-Unfair Competition Law, Enterprise Bankruptcy Law, Bidding and Tendering Law, Agricultural Law, Fisheries Law, Civil Aviation Law, People’s Bank of China Law, and Banking Supervision and Administration Law.
