Bitcoin (BTC), Despite the drop in the markets following Trump's new tariff announcement, experts point out that BTC is at a critical turning point as it approaches the $80,000 level.
The new tariff plan announced by U.S. President Donald Trump last Wednesday evening deeply shook global markets. This situation also caused the Bitcoin price to drop by approximately 5%. Bitcoin, which experienced a decline along with traditional markets, seems to have temporarily dashed investors' expectations of a "safe haven." However, some analysts believe that we have entered a period where the importance of BTC as a store of value may increase.
Joel Kruger, the experienced market strategist of LMAX Group, emphasized that the current uncertainty in the markets is a turning point for Bitcoin, stating that investors' interest in BTC may increase in the upcoming period.
According to Kruger, while the Nasdaq and S&P 500 indices fall to their lowest levels of 2025, the fact that the Bitcoin price can still hold above the year's lowest level of 75 thousand dollars shows that BTC is demonstrating strong resistance.
