Golden Finance reports. On April 6, Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Baghaei said, in response to questions at a press briefing held that day, that the U.S. action to rescue its pilot on the local time of the 5th constitutes an infringement of Iran’s airspace and raises many questions. The American pilot’s purported location was in the Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, while the area where the U.S. carried out the rescue operation was in central Iran, and the two are far apart.
Baghaei emphasized that the U.S.’s operation might be a “cover operation” intended to steal enriched uranium. This possibility should not be ignored. This operation is a “catastrophic scandal” for the United States. (CCTV News)
