On March 31, according to a report by Business Wire, Interactive Brokers (NASDAQ: IBKR) announced that its subsidiary, Interactive Brokers Ireland Limited, has officially opened cryptocurrency trading services to eligible individual investors across the European Economic Area (EEA). The entity has already obtained the qualified status of an EEA-authorized cryptocurrency service provider.

Users can trade 11 types of cryptocurrencies on the same platform, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, Cardano (ADA), Dogecoin (DOGE), Avalanche (AVAX), Chainlink (LINK), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Sui (SUI), and can manage them alongside traditional assets such as stocks, options, futures, foreign exchange, and bonds under a single account.

Cryptocurrency trading supports 7×24-hour round-the-clock operation. The commission rate is 0.12%–0.18% of the transaction value. It does not charge hidden spreads, markups, or custody fees, and it supports limit orders.
