[DOGE ETF DOJE plans to start trading this Thursday, SEC delays approval for Bitwise DOGE ETF] The Dogecoin ETF (ticker DOJE) launched by REX Shares and Osprey Funds is expected to start trading this Thursday, becoming the first officially listed Dogecoin ETF in the United States. The fund is structured under the Investment Company Act of 1940 to provide protection for investors and holds Dogecoin through a subsidiary in the Cayman Islands. Meanwhile, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) postponed the approval of the Bitwise DOGE ETF proposal on Tuesday, stating that it needs more time to review the related rule changes. In addition, Grayscale's spot Hedera ETF also faced delays. Analyst Eric Balchunas pointed out that the listing of DOGE marks the beginning of the "Meme coin ETF era".
