Tether Treasury issued an additional 1 billion USDT on the Tron network.
According to the Gate.io News bot, data monitored by Whale Alert shows that Tether Treasury completed an issuance of 1 billion USDT on the Tron network at 4:52 AM today, with a total value of approximately 1.001 billion USD.
In response, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino confirmed that this issuance belongs to the "authorized but unissued" transactions, intended to reserve for future token issuance needs and on-chain exchange operations.
