GoPlus Security Alert: The token contracts of WebKey DAO and NVB Bank have an unlimited issuance function.
PANews reported on April 9 that GoPlus Security, a Web3 security company, posted on platform X that it conducted a security analysis of 11 tokens in the second round of the BNB Chain $4.4 million liquidity support program and found that some of them have potential risks. Of the 11 tokens listed, WebKey DAO and NVB Bank are marked as high risk alerts, BabyMove is marked as medium risk alerts, and the rest are marked as low risk ratings (no significant security risks found). GoPlus Security stated that the token contract of WebKey DAO has unlimited issuance capability, and there are still a large number of tokens available for issuance. This means developers can create a large number of new tokens at any time, significantly diluting the value of the tokens held by users; the token of NVB Bank also has unlimited issuance functionality, with no upper limit on token creation. The contract of BabyMove makes external calls to upgradable proxy contracts, which may lead to potential issues.
