iPhone 17 offers cryptocurrency protection

Apple will launch the iPhone 17 next week with a new design, higher performance, and security features for digital assets. The device uses the A19 chip along with the Memory Integrity Enforcement (MIE) system, which helps detect and prevent memory vulnerabilities that are often exploited by hackers to attack cryptocurrency wallets, thereby protecting private keys and digital assets stored on the phone.

Despite the rising costs of developing security technology, Apple still maintains a stable price for the iPhone at 799 USD. Meanwhile, the value of Bitcoin and Ethereum has surged, making the iPhone increasingly cheaper when priced in cryptocurrency. In 2025, the iPhone 17 will be priced at around 0.0072 BTC or 0.1866 ETH, nearly halving the price compared to the iPhone 16 from the previous year.

This discrepancy shows that the iPhone maintains a stable price in USD, while cryptocurrencies are increasingly seen as a long-term store of value.
