Armed conflict in northern Syria has resulted in at least 37 deaths

On January 9th, Jinshi Data reported that according to the website of the 'Syrian Observatory for Human Rights', which is based in the UK, intense clashes broke out between the US-backed Syrian Kurdish forces and the Turkish-backed Syrian forces in the suburbs of Manbij, eastern Aleppo province, northern Syria, resulting in at least 37 deaths. The report stated that heavy weapons were used by all parties involved in the conflict, as they battled for control of the strategic locations near Manbij, including the Tishreen Dam and merch. The Turkish-backed Syrian forces, known as the 'Syrian National Army', received support from the Turkish air force. This conflict resulted in the deaths of at least 32 armed personnel and 5 civilians.
