On November 6th, stablecoin issuer Tether announced that in the next few hours, Tether will coordinate with third-party trading platforms to conduct on-chain conversion, converting part of its USDT cold wallet from different blockchains into USDT on ETH. During this process, the total supply of USDT will remain unchanged. The specific allocation is as follows (may be subject to change): 1,000,000,000 USDT on TRC20 on-chain, 600,000,000 USDT on AVAX(C) on-chain, 300,000,000 USDT on NEAR on-chain, 75,000,000 USDT on CELO on-chain, and 60,000,000 USDT on EOS on-chain will all be converted into USDT on-chain on ETH.
