On October 30th, Jin10 Data reported that over 75,000 spectators gathered on the Ellipse lawn in Washington, D.C. to watch Harris deliver her closing argument speech. Harris said that Trump "spent ten years trying to divide Americans and make them afraid of each other." The location where Harris gave her speech was exactly where Trump held his "Save America" rally in 2021, which led to the January 6th U.S. Capitol riot. The House Select Committee said that about 53,000 people attended Trump's speech before the riot. In contrast, the previous record for Harris' audience was set last Friday in Houston, Texas, where pop music queen Beyoncé also made an appearance. Harris' campaign team said that about 30,000 people attended the Houston rally. Trump's campaign rally in New York City last Sunday also filled Madison Square Garden, which can hold up to 19,500 people at most.
