Gate.io: Tonight, Bailey's speech may not have much impact on the pound

According to a report by Francesco Pesole, an analyst at the International Group of the Netherlands, the speech by Andrew Bailey, the Governor of the Central Bank, at the Jackson Hole Symposium later today may be 'insignificant' for the recent sharp appreciation of the pound, as he may rarely mention interest rate cuts. Bailey does not need to respond to aggressive rate cut expectations like the Federal Reserve, and the Bank of England still needs to strengthen confidence in low inflation.
