Abraxas Capital Sub-address Increases WTI Crude Oil Short Position by 25,100, Total Position Rises to $14.96 Million

Gate News: On March 17, on-chain data shows that in the past hour, the sub-address of Abraxas Capital (0xb83d…) executed a hedge operation on its WTI crude oil (U.S. crude oil futures benchmark) short position, adding 25,100 short contracts worth approximately $2.9055 million. After this increase, its total WTI crude oil short position rose to $14.9625 million, with the average holding price passively raised from $92.88 to $93.39. The current WTI crude oil price is $96.72, and this position has an unrealized loss of about $514,300, a 6.48% loss, with a liquidation price at $144.39. This address was previously the largest whale holding on Hyperliquid, with peak holdings exceeding $900 million. On-chain data shows it currently holds 34,000 BTC (approximately $2.34 billion) and is conducting large-scale trades on the Hyperliquid platform.
