BlockBeats news, on August 24, according to the Korea Herald, the number of South Korean billionaires holding over 1 billion won in Crypto Assets has reached approximately 18,000. The average Holdings of this group of users is 2.228 billion won, more than 200 times the average open interest (10.27 million won) of over 18.66 million users across South Korea's top five trading platforms. By age group, the largest number of individuals holding more than 1 billion won in Crypto Assets are in their 50s (3,994 people), followed by those in their 40s (3,086 people), those over 60 (2,426 people), and those in their 30s (1,167 people), with 137 young Whales in their 20s. About 76% of the Whales (8,242 people) are Upbit users, significantly surpassing Upbit's 52% share among the top five trading platforms.
