Strategist: Lower-than-expected CPI is reassuring, but the tariff inflation "time bomb" still exists.

On June 11, Seema Shah, chief global strategist at Principal Asset Management, said that today's lower-than-expected inflation data is indeed comforting, but only to a certain extent. Tariff-driven price increases may be months away from fully reflected in the CPI data, and it is too early to say that a price shock will not come.
