Russia claims that Ukraine has indefinitely postponed the exchange of detained personnel, which Ukraine denies.

On June 7, local time, the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War in Ukraine informed that Russia's statement on the postponement of the exchange of detainees by the Ukrainian side is inconsistent with reality and does not conform to the agreement on the exchange of detainees and the return of remains. The Ukrainian side has submitted a clear list of exchanges, which are drawn up on the basis of the categories agreed in Istanbul. The Russian side submitted other lists that did not correspond to the agreed methodology. Ukraine has already given a relevant response and now expects the Russian side to take the next step. The parties have reached an agreement on the return of the remains, but no specific date has yet been set. Russia has acted unilaterally. The Russian side did not engage in a constructive dialogue.
