On May 31, according to two people familiar with the matter, artificial intelligence developer Anthropic's annualized revenue is about $3 billion, which is a major leap from nearly $1 billion in December 2024. The figure topped $2 billion around the end of March and reached $3 billion at the end of May, one of the sources said. One of the sources said that Anthropic's surge in revenue was mainly from the sale of AI models to other companies as a service, a data point indicating that business demand is growing.
