CoinVoice has learned that, according to CryptoPotato, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson stated during a Q&A session at an event on Wednesday that Ethereum may struggle to survive in the next 10-15 years.

Hoskinson pointed out three structural flaws in Ethereum: the erroneous account model, the virtual machine, and the consensus model. He particularly criticized the “parasitic” nature of layer two network solutions, arguing that these networks do not solve Ethereum’s scalability issues but instead extract value from the main chain.

He compares the situation of Ethereum to that of early innovators like Myspace and Blackberry, predicting that users will gradually migrate to other platforms, especially the decentralized financial ecosystem of Bitcoin.
