I recently spent time researching the Walrus protocol project and found that it has a clear vision in the decentralized storage track—primarily building low-cost, highly available storage infrastructure for AI and Web3 applications.

From a technical perspective, it's built on the Sui blockchain and uses erasure coding and sharded storage solutions to process data, which not only ensures data availability but also significantly reduces costs. The application scenarios are well-covered—storage for on-chain assets like NFT content and game assets, plus AI training datasets, with programmable data management logic enabled through smart contracts.

Recently, the WAL token was listed on leading exchanges, which means more developers and ordinary users can experience decentralized storage capabilities at a lower barrier to entry. The key question is: given the current AI wave, how large an ecosystem can storage protocols like Walrus actually support? This is quite worth thinking about, and interested friends can share your thoughts on this.
