The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has postponed its decision on BlackRock's spot Ether ETF application. According to The Block's report, the SEC made the following statements on the subject: "The Commission has deemed it appropriate to set a longer period of time to take action on the proposed amendment in order to have sufficient time to analyse the proposed rule changes and any potential issues that may arise." The SEC has until March 10 to make a decision on the spot Ether ETF.
In November, BlackRock applied for a spot Ether ETF called the iShares Ethereum Trust. Markets are very optimistic about Ether ETFs in general.
