This morning, FLUID suddenly surged, with the highest increase exceeding 50%. There might be something behind this move.

On-chain analyst Amir Ormu looked at the data and thinks this could be related to Wintermute needing to repay a loan. According to Nansen, Wintermute’s market-making address had a net purchase of 13.272 FLUID in the past day, which at the time amounted to about $516,000.

Looking back, in December last year, Wintermute also mentioned a liquidity proposal on Fluid’s governance forum, suggesting reallocating resources from the DAO treasury. The timing of this recent purchase is quite interesting, and the market speculates it might be preparation for loan repayment—after all, market makers usually move funds in connection with major operations.

That said, this kind of short-term pump could also just be a temporary liquidity adjustment. We'll have to watch and see if Wintermute takes any further action.

Watching Wintermute's operation, it feels complicated, throwing in $516,000 just to pay off a loan? Is this for real?

I've seen through Wintermute's series of moves, it's just to pump for their own dumping convenience.

I missed the wave with FLUID, missed another opportunity for fifty times.

I still remember that proposal in the forum, and now the timing for buying is so coincidental, it indicates insider information.

Can we trust a short-term pump? Wintermute's tricks are getting old.

Market makers have to ponder for a long time before making a move, this time it really makes people uncomfortable.

When will we see a 50% rise? I've been waiting all along.

Is it true? Is Nansen's data accurate? Why didn't I see this operation?

Wintermute is still playing such tricks, when will they come up with something new?

On-chain data is trustworthy, but they are starting to spin stories again.

Put in 510,000 and still can't double it. How is this market maker operating?

This move by Wintermute is quite interesting. Investing $516,000—it’s unlikely they’re just playing around.

$516,000 was put in—Wintermute's move doesn’t look simple. Are they paying off debt or is there another strategy?
