Bybit and Cactus Custody announce strategic cooperation, Cactus Oasis officially accesses the Bybit platform.

According to 深潮 TechFlow news, on July 23, Bybit announced a strategic partnership with Cactus Custody, a leading compliant digital asset custody institution under Matrixport in Asia, to launch an off-exchange settlement solution through the Cactus Oasis platform. This aims to enhance institutional clients’ asset security, capital efficiency, and operational control capabilities, with an expected launch date of July 28, 2025. The partnership allows clients to trade without pre-funding their Bybit accounts, with collateral assets being held by Cactus Custody in a regulated isolated environment and only transferred during settlement, thereby reducing counterparty risk and ensuring market liquidity. Cactus Oasis achieves cross-platform asset management through “buffer accounts,” providing dual authorization, customized approval settlement processes, and KYC/KYB/KYT compliance support, equipped with a bank-grade security system that includes HSM encryption and layered storage for Hot Wallet and cold wallet. Cactus Custody holds a TCSP license from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and has received Deloitte’s SOC 1 Type 1 and SOC 2 Type 2 certifications, meeting mainstream institutional compliance requirements. Shunyet Jan, Head of Institutional Business at Bybit, stated that this partnership strengthens the secure trading environment and optimizes liquidity management.
