Mars Finance reports that on April 11, Pakistani sources stated that during a meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz, the Iranian negotiation delegation proposed the preconditions for negotiations between Iran and the United States.
The conditions put forward by Iran include full control of the Strait of Hormuz, the unfreezing of all Iranian overseas assets and accounts, U.S. payments for Iranian reconstruction costs but with American companies barred from participating in bidding, an immediate halt to all attacks, especially those targeting Lebanon, and allowing Iran to use civilian nuclear energy.
