According to Jinse Finance, self-custody wallet provider Cntrl Wallet (formerly known as XDEFI) is currently seeking an acquisition to help expand the company's scale.
The founder and CEO of the company, Emile Dubie, wrote on the social media platform X: 'After building Cntrl Wallet for nearly 5 years, we have decided to explore the company's development opportunities through an acquisition. While we believe that Ctrl Wallet is the best multi-chain wallet, we believe that in order to scale and compete with the largest participants, we need the strong support of suitable partners who can open up new distribution channels for us.'
In 2021, Cntrl Wallet raised $6 million in Series A financing led by Mechanism Capital, bringing the total financing at that time to $7.2 million.
