While the Dencun update to be carried out on the Ethereum network is expected to benefit layer-2 protocols on the network, this update is promoted as a data accessibility improvement that introduces Proto Danksharding to the network. At the end of this process, the Ethereum Blockchain is intended to perform faster and cheaper transactions. While experts believe that the update will accelerate Ethereum, it is thought that its current obstacles such as slow transactions and low scalability on the network will be removed. Therefore, it is predicted that the Dencun update will have a positive impact on Ethereum Layer-2 projects.
