I just realized that many of you often ask what time the trading sessions are, so today I’ve compiled the main trading hours in a day according to Vietnam time for your convenience.
The European session (London) is the earliest opening time. During summer, what time is the European session? It starts at 14:00 in the afternoon and lasts until 23:00 at night. In winter, it’s a bit later, from 15:00 in the afternoon until midnight (00:00).
The American session (New York) comes afterward. In summer, the US opens at 19:00 at night and closes at 04:00 the next morning. In winter, it runs from 20:00 at night to 05:00 in the morning.
The best part is from 19:00 to 23:00 (Vietnam time), when the European and US sessions overlap. During this time, the market usually experiences the most volatility due to high liquidity and the release of many important economic news. If you want to trade or manage risk, this is the most critical time to pay attention to.
Additionally, the European session’s early hours (around 14:00-15:00) often see volatility as the market starts to heat up. And when the US session just opens (19:00-20:00), US economic reports are usually released, significantly impacting USD-related currency pairs.
Currently, XRP is at 1.4504, up 3.30%, and BNB is at 647.27, up 3.16%. If you follow these assets, pay special attention to the above time frames to catch volatility opportunities.
