Recently, looking at L2s, they are all comparing TPS, transaction fees, and ecological subsidies, fighting like a price war... but my own main focus is rather simple: in the end, do you really believe that "this transaction actually counts"?

The so-called data availability, in plain terms, is whether you can still pull out the transaction history later for reconciliation;
ordering is about who comes first and who comes later, don’t underestimate it, the sentiment trading of NFT minting can be just a few seconds off;
finality is even simpler: don’t say it’s confirmed today and then regret it tomorrow.
The terminology sounds intimidating, but it’s just asking: if something goes wrong, can I check, can I contest, can I wait until it actually settles?
(As someone who’s emotionally sensitive, I get nervous whenever I see “possible rollback”)
Anyway, when I pick projects now, I not only look for cheap and fast, but I also pay more attention to where they actually put these “foundations of trust.”
