Deep Tide TechFlow message, March 27. Earlier reports said David Sacks would step down as the White House point person for artificial intelligence and crypto affairs. He appeared to respond by reposting a Fox News report on the X platform. According to Fox Business, a senior White House adviser said David Sacks will continue to serve as the White House lead for artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency, while also being appointed Joint Chair of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST), advising on a wider range of key technology issues and expanding his role in the Trump administration. David Sacks said that after many achievements in the first year, Trump has set out additional priorities for 2026. The President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology is moving quickly, aiming to bring more victories to the United States.

As of now, David Sacks’ White House-affiliated X account bio annotation still reads “White House A.I. & Crypto Czar (White House Artificial Intelligence and Crypto Czar).”
